How do I disable data protection

AWARD®'s purpose is to ensure it preserves a full audit trail. Allowing you to remove or update a response field, where data has been entered, is not something AWARD® likes to do. 

 

Any actions will appear in the Event Log, so you do have a level of traceability, but would urge you to only use the following actions where a test situation influences a project. Please do not use this as your default fix - if you do need to use this, please get in touch as there may be other ways to assist you. 

 

Project > Setup > Tools > Advance Settings > Disable Data Protection – enter

You will then have a red banner on the project title; to reactivate Data Protection you can click the red banner or return to the function via the main menu. Data Protection will also be enabled again automatically after 20 minutes.
