This article is for suppliers attempting to register for a Project via Open Registration who receive a message stating that a response team already exists.
What this message means
When registering for a Project using the Open Registration tab, you may see one of the following messages:
- “A Response Team already exists for this Project; if you cannot access the Project from your AWARD home page, then please contact the Authority to be granted access to the Project.”
- “A Response Team already exists for this Project and is being run by the following people: [User name].”
This means that:
- You are already registered for the Project, or
- Another supplier user linked to your organisation has already registered and created the response team
Only one response team can be created per supplier organisation for a Project.
What to do next
Check your AWARD® home page
First, log in to AWARD® and check whether the Project already appears on your home page.
If it does, no further registration is required.
Contact the existing response team member
If a user name is shown in the message, contact that person directly to request access to the response team.
Contact the Authority
If you cannot access the Project and do not know who has registered, contact the Authority as instructed in the message. They can grant you access to the existing response team if appropriate.
Important to know
- Open Registration does not create multiple response teams for the same supplier
- Registering again will not give you access if a response team already exists
- Access must be granted by an existing team member or the Authority
