Accessing AWARD 5

AWARD 5 is a legacy system which was retired in August 2022.  


This means access to AWARD 5 is not available "on demand".  However, we acknowledge some of our customers have data in AWARD 5 they need to refer to from time to time, on these occasions we can "spin up" the servers for a limited period.


How to request access:

If you require access to AWARD 5, please submit a support request (use the "submit ticket" button above).

Please send the following details for all users requiring access (NOTE: there may be a limit to the number of users you can add).

  • Name:
  • Email address:
  • AWARD 5 username (if known):
  • IP Address* (essential):

*Access to AWARD 5 is validated by IP address.

If you are unsure of your IP Address, you can find this information by pasting into your browser.

To ensure uninterrupted access to AWARD, it is recommended that IP addresses are static (not dynamic). Please contact your local IT services to obtain a static IP address as we are unable to assist with this.


Expected time scales to action your request: 

If you have an existing user account in AWARD 5 we aim to have your access request expedited within 4 working hours from receipt of the information requested above. If you have requested new users, this may take longer.


For all users: Access will only be granted for 48 hours, after this time access will be automatically revoked. If you have been unable to complete your tasks in this time, please contact the helpdesk again requesting an extension (another 48 hours).


We have taken these actions to ensure the security of the AWARD 5 service while it is live.
