Procurements in AWARD®

Procurements are a new way to group individual AWARD® projects that relate to a single procurement activity. Each procurement is associated with a specific Authority.

Key Points:

  • Grouping Projects: Procurements allow you to group projects related to a single procurement activity.
  • Authority Association: Each procurement is linked to a specific Authority.
  • Project Groups: While not required, procurements can be part of a Project Group, which may represent a larger programme of work or another appropriate organization.

Here's what it looks like in AWARD®.  The Projects home screen now features a new look for procurements, displaying the name, contracting authority, and dates for the procurement.

Note: Projects do not need to be part of a procurement. However, for interaction with the CDP (Central Digital Platform), a procurement is required.
