Scenario
A Project Manager (PM) is unable to upload documents to an Assessor Document Group or change its permissions to read/write.
Cause
By default, only users with Assessor rights are granted write access to Assessor Document Groups. If the PM is not also set up as an assessor, they will not have the necessary permissions to upload or modify documents in that group.
Resolution
To enable write access for the PM:
- Ensure the PM is also assigned Assessor rights in the project.
- Once assigned, the PM will automatically have write access to the Assessor Document Group.
Note: Work Groups are not required for granting write access to Assessor Document Groups. Work Groups are only needed when you want to restrict access to specific users or control visibility more granularly.
